Steve was born and raised on the Oregon coast in Lincoln City. He moved to the drier side of the mountains, landing in Bend in 1987 with his wife, Michelle.

In addition to being a nice guy, he has spent his whole life in the Oregon building industry, including 17 years as a licensed residential contractor. He is also a master carpenter, which means he is well suited to help out the elderly or other friends who can’t wield a hammer, but have a need. His motto is, “Do what’s right, not what’s easy.”

When not working or helping others, Steve enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it’s big game or upland bird hunting, hiking, or small acre farming, he enjoys exploring lesser known places in Oregon.
