They say that patience is a virtue and in this case, it’s paying off. After purchasing this lot on Awbrey Butte over 20 years ago, we’re currently building a home for a very athletic Portland couple who are moving to Bend to take full advantage of all of the outdoor activities Central Oregon has to offer. Their home also takes full advantage of beautiful, unobstructed Cascade views from Mt. Jefferson to Mt. Bachelor and features a huge deck for people to enjoy that iconic Central Oregon view. In addition to the west-facing deck, the home also has an entry courtyard with a cascading water feature, which will be a great place to hang out in the morning sun or to escape the afternoon summer heat on the back deck. Spencer Williams designed the home with arched windows, radial corbels, and barrel vaults to create a more traditional Tuscan feel inside the home with some very cool detailing. Kristy Yozamp has steered our clients toward some beautiful materials and creative interior detailing to really capture the feel our clients are going for.
