Highlands – Macalpine Loop

Pacwest is fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with the second owners of a home Steve Van Sant designed in 2013 in the Highlands. The home didn’t quite meet the needs of the current owners, so Blair Davis designed a small remodel for the home, adding a deck with access to a new outdoor living space. That was just the beginning, as the scope of the project also includes a large swimming pool and associated outdoor living spaces and a Pool House with sleeping quarters. The new structure, with similar architecture to the main house, will include a Living Room, Eating Nook, Kitchenette, and a Suite for guests, aging parents, or returning adult children. It also features an RV garage with toy storage and a space for a climbing gym and exercise space, taking some pressure off of the existing Garage. The remodel and addition are going to make the back yard a much more pleasant space to spend time throughout the year, but especially summer. The challenge now will be getting guests to leave.
