Tour of Homes 2012 - Awbrey Butte

You may have seen this home on the 2012 COBA Tour of Homes.  It sits on the North side of the Butte and has amazing views from all of the public rooms.  A stone and paver courtyard take full advantage of the southern sun.  We won "Best Landscape", "Best Feature" for a downstairs family room, and "Best Architectural Design".  This home turned out great and the home-owners are happy to be living there now.

Eagle Crest

This home sits perched high on a bluff with views up and down the Deschutes River canyon.  Located in Eagle Crest, this home will take in all that the area has to offer with a secluded feel on a large private river lot mere miles from the Eagle Crest resort and all of it's ammenities.

Broken Top (double lot)

This spacious single-level home was designed by Steve Van Sant to sit in the middle of two lots in Broken Top.  The home features a porte cochere, entry courtyard, glulam hammer trusses, coffered ceilings, and great outdoor entertaining spaces on the front and rear of the home.  This home will be great for entertaining, but will also be comfortable when you're just spending a snowy day by the fire.  This home will be completed in 2014.

Broken Top

This is the second home Steve has designed for this couple.  Even though he started from scratch on the design, it ended up being similar to the first home Steve designed for them years before, but with some fine tuning and a better location.  The home is framed up, stone has been applied on the exterior, and work has started on the inside.

Awbrey Butte

This is one of the newest of the many homes Designed by Steve VanSant on Awbrey Butte. Timber trusses and generous use of stone give the home a Northwest feel while the open floor plan makes the home very livable and comfortable.

Current Projects

We finished this home designed by Spencer Williams in early summer of 2012 and the owners have been enjoying the home as a vacation getaway until they retire and move in full-time.  This 4-bedroom 5-bath house features a bunk-room for grand kids, a game room with a wet bar for adults, and an office that looks down onto the great room for anyone who needs to get some work done.  A variety of covered and uncovered decks and patios with heaters in strategic locations will allow them to take full advantage of what Bend has to offer year-round.

Here's your first chance to see our Tour of Homes entry for 2013.  This 3,159 sq-ft 3-Bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home is the newest of Spencer Williams' designs in Tetherow.  The home picks up great mountain views from a window seat in the master bedroom as well as from a martini deck off of the guest bedroom above the garage and has golf course views on both sides of the home from almost every room.  Check back on the website for progress photos, then come visit us at the tour to see the finished product in person.

This is the second home that Steve has designed for this couple.  The lot is ready and the forms are about to go up.  We are looking forward to things really getting started.

Steve designed this home on an acre lot on Awbrey Butte for a family with young children.  The wide lot will allow them to have a large flat lawn for the kids to play on even though the lot is steep.  This will require a lot of site work, but hopefully not that much rock-hammering.  As you can see from the picture, the home will have some amazing views from most of the rooms in the house.  This is going to be a fun one to watch as it progresses.

Roscelli Remodel

Dear Conone:

Linda and I just wanted to send you a note about our recent remodel experience with you and Pacwest.

As you know this adventure was our 2nd remodel with you and because of the process and outcome of your 1st remodel we had high expectations for this effort. We were not disappointed. The main focus of the remodel was the master bathroom, but it also involved the Kitchen, a downstairs powder room and a small mudroom so it was a rather complex job.  All of those areas came out better than we hoped for and have truly made our house a much better place to live both functionally and aesthetically.

To us, what is just as important as the outcome of the project, was the process and this is where Pacwest shines and is the reason we will come back if we do any more remodeling. Just like our 1st remodel with you we were again impressed with your attention to making us, the customer, happy and the quality of all your subcontractors. Having served in the military for 34 years we have owned homes and dealt with contractors all over the country. Most of those other experiences were not ideal and it seemed like we had to constantly fight with the contractor to get what we wanted or to fix issues that come up during a job. That is not the case with you and Pacwest. We were always so relieved when we had a concern or an issue and your response was always ?this is not a problem, it?s an opportunity?.  Because of that, this process, although it was long and required us to live in confined areas of our house for extended periods, was still enjoyable to us as we watched you and your subcontractors helped us realize our dreams.

The bottom line is we want to say thanks to you, Pacwest and all your subcontractors for a job well done.
